Fun Spooky Halloween Activities for Children This Half Term.
Halloween activities near me, indoor activities for children.
Each October children look forward to Halloween, dressing up as witches to wizards or pumpkin carving. This tradition originates from the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts of the past.
In the 8th century, the 1st of November became the day to honour all saints with the traditions of Samhain added in. This became known as Hallows eve and is now known as Halloween.
To celebrate Halloween, I have put together some fun chocolate workshops for half term. The cooking school will be turned into a room of chocolate magic.
Welcome on arrival by Miss Witt and introduction to her delicious chocolate. Learn where chocolate originates from and how it is grown (the educational bit!)
Chocolate tasting of Miss Witts signature milk chocolate and white chocolate
Demonstration by Miss Witt of the Spooky Treats - A Witches Hat, Spiders Web and Magic Stars Print Lollipops
Each child will leave with their Halloween treats and their new skills.
Children and Parents are welcome to come in fancy dress if they wish!
Accompanying adults and parents are invited to join in the workshop (but please book a ticket)
Please note we are an intimate venue and can only accommodate one adult or parent accompanying each child.
