Travel The World of Chocolate

Fine Art and Fine Chocolate - A Treat for the Senses
Chocolate Tasting evening at Palais des Vaches Art Gallery, Exbury…

Enjoy 2 hours surrounded by the Palais Des Vaches’ fine works of art whilst learning all about chocolate from different cacao growing regions of the world.

Cocao is grown in a narrow belt around the world 20 degrees north and south of the Equator, Africa, Indonesia and South America. We will taste chocolate from my suppliers which range from Venezuela, Ecuador to Madagasgar and Columbia. The Chocolate you will be tasting will be a cocoa content of 36% for the white chocolate up to 72% for a dark chocolate. We will learn about harvesting, and processing, and taste the differences between the different areas. You will be surprised at the differences and if you are used to buying chocolate in the UK, you will notice the difference in flavour with my fine chocolate producers.

I will be teaching you about the difference between fairtrade and Direct trade, about all the different grades of chocolate, for example, Heritage cacao and Ariba cacao. I hope that you will leave with a new appreciation for chocolate, but, be warned! You may find you can’t go back to buying cheap chocolate ever again!

I have a few tickets left! be sure to book now if you would like to join us…
