Enjoy Cocktails While Making Chocolate Truffles

I am running a very special workshop on Friday 11th March in Collaboration with Hugh Anderson from Explores Gin

I met Hugh Anderson from Explorer’s Gin at an event just before Christmas.  Hugh is based at Downton Distillery, just over the border in Wiltshire. We hit it off straight away talking about taste and flavours, as when I tasted the gin I knew he had a great art for pairing flavours.  If you are drinking gin or enjoying chocolate, you want the flavours to awake your taste buds to allow them to sing and dance for it to be an unforgettable experience.

We caught up in January to discuss, how we could work together to create something very special to bring to our clients and decided a cocktail and chocolate evening would a wonderful idea especially as I have worked with many bartenders over years creating chocolate garnishes to go with cocktails.

Explorers Gin Cocktail

On arrival you will enjoy a classic Negroni or a South Side made with Explorer’s Gin which has flavour floral and citrus flavour notes served with white chocolate shards infused with lime, to complement the gin, and learn more about the botanicals in the gin, this is followed by a chocolate demo to learn how to make your milk chocolate truffles then it’s over to you to start to make your truffles.

During the course of the evening, we will break and Hugh will teach you to you how to make a Champagne based cocktail called ‘French Bitter’ who doesn’t love Friday fizz!  for you to enjoy while you are finishing your chocolate truffles.  You will leave 2 boxes of chocolate for the weekend!

This event will take place on 11th March 7pm till at least 9pm , at Chocolate HQ to book a ticket click below , look forward seeing you and to explore chocolate and gin together.
